ADMISSION TO THE TOURNAMENTS

OPEN TOURNAMENT A: Open to all players

OPEN TOURNAMENT B: Players with ELO < 1600 or newcomers

Players with ELO ratings that belong to more than one category have the opportunity to choose which tournament to participate.

• For Italian players it is necessary to have the Agonistic card FSI for the current year or the Junior Card for players under 18.  All those who don’t have it, can request it during the enrollment to the tournament .

• The player that arrives at the chessboard 60 minutes after the beginning of the game session will lose the match.

• Promotions will be regulated by the current technical regulations of the F.S.I and F.I.D.E.

• For the matters not mentioned in the present notice-regulation, must be valid the current terms of the technical regulations of the FSI inforce at the time of the tournaments. The subscription to the tournaments implies the full acceptance of the rules stated in the above notice-regulations. The organization reserves the right to make changes necessary for a successful outcome of the event (game schedule, game location, etc.).

• In the game area, smoking and the use of mobile phones is prohibited.

 

GAME MODE

9 Game Rounds – TOURNAMENTS A,B, Swiss system

With the possibility of accelerated rounds. For the placings will be adopted the Buholz system. 

 

REFLECTION TIME

TOURNAMENTS A, B: 90 minutes with a time bonus of 30 seconds per move from the start

 

ORGANIZATION CONTRIBUTION

Tournaments A and B:  € 50

$10 discount for members of Scacchierando

Free subscription for GM, MI and players with ELO ≥ 2400.

It is necessary to pre-enroll via VeSuS: http://vesus.org/tornei or by  e-mail by  24/01/2013. 
After that date there will be an additional charge of € 5,00.
